Why do I get sentences that don't make sense?
Where weird sentences are created by Family Book Creator you can change the sentences by altering the Description-Style for the fact type in which the weird sentence appeared or by changing the data in the Fact in Family Tree Maker (FTM).
In the example below it can be seen that the information from the description field (i.e. age, marital status etc) is used as place detail inside the sentences created by Family Book Creator.

Changing the Description-Style
Because different FTM users use the data fields in different ways, Family Book Creator allows the user to specify how values from description fields should be handled inside narratives. There are different fact description styles available which allow the values from the description fields to be used as location details in front of the given place information or in parentheses following the place.
Please note that this option is only available in case you are using 'Include in narrative (FBC style)' as formatting option.
To find out more about "description styles" go to page 41 of the FBC User Guide, found here (http://www.familybookcreator.com/media/files/UserGuideFBC2017.pdf#pagemode=bookmarks&page=41). The default setting for fact "Residence", was in the past (before Build 417) "at d. in place | Sentence. D." and is now "Sentence (Description)." which is the default for Census fact types as well.

After changing the Description-Style for the Residence fact type to "Omit Description" we are getting the following result:

Changing data recorded in FTM
Give some thought to converting some of your "Residence" facts to "Census" facts. (The ‘Manage Facts’, ‘Data options’ feature of FTM may help you with this task. Give it a try BUT make a backup before you change your data).
